Born in Grosseto, Italy, in 1999, Carlotta Dalia began to play the classical guitar at an early age, studying for many years with, among others, Aniello Desiderio and Carlo Marchione. At the age of 14, she was admitted to the bachelor course at the Academic Institute of Musical Studies R. Franci in Siena, Italy, from which she graduated with honours at age 18. Since 2013, she regularly attends masterclasses held by maestro Carlo Marchione at the Municipal School of Arts in Rome, Italy. In 2017, she was admitted to the Accademia Chigiana in Siena in the class of maestro Oscar Ghiglia, receiving a Certificate of Honour and a scholarship. She has attended masterclasses by David Russell, Raphaella Smith, Zoran Dukič, René Izquierdo, Adriano Del Sal, Paolo Pegoraro, Marcin Dylla, Lorenzo Micheli, Matteo Mela, Pavel Staidl, Costas Cotsiolis, Oscar Ghiglia and Leo Brouwer. At present she is doing a Master's Degree at the L. Boccherini Conservatory in Lucca, studying with M° Giampaolo Bandini.

Carlotta gave her first solo recital at age 12 and has since performed at numerous festivals in Italy and abroad.  She has also performed concerts with several orchestras, like the Savaria Symphony Orchestra at the Giuseppe Verdi Hall in Budapest, the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra in Moscow, the AUCSO Orchestra in Tychy in Poland and the Rinaldo Franci Orchestra in Siena.

She is already a prize winner at many national and international competitions, among which first prize at the National Competition G. Rospigliosi, Lamporecchio, Italy (2010, 2012, 2016 and 2017), at the Guitar Competition Etruscan Riviera, Piombino, Italy (2010, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2017), at the International Guitar Competition Young Guitarists, Mottola, Italy (2014), and at the International Guitar Competition Pittaluga Junior, Alessandria, Italy (2014). Carlotta was awarded the Golden Guitar 2019 Giovane Promessa at the 24° Guitar Convention in Milano.

In 2016, she released her debut album Gran Solo, which was presented during the program Arpeggio, on Radio Vaticana. Her second album with works by S.L. Weiss, D. Scarlatti, and J. S. Bach was published in 2019 (Ed. Suonare News).

Carlotta plays guitars by luthier Andrea Tacchi (2015) and since 2016 she is a D’Addario Artist.
