Cassie Martin received her first classical guitar lessons from Dominique Jacquet. In 2011 she joined the classical guitar course of Josiane Rabemananjara and Agnès Abiton at the Music Conservatory of Orléans. After obtaining her Certificate of musical studies (CEM) in 2015, she continued her studies under the guidance of Gérard Abiton, earning her Diploma of musical studies (DEM) with honours in 2017. In the same year, she was admitted to the Cycle de Perfectionnement at the CRR de Paris and later, in 2018, to the Cycle Préparatoire aux Etudes Supérieures. In 2019, she was accepted in the 1er Cycle Supérieur of guitar at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris (CNSMDP).
Cassie Martin has participated in several international competitions, winning first prize at the Carry-Le-Rouet International Guitar Competition (under 16 category, France, 2017), at the Concours International de Carry-le-Rouet in the Excellence category (2018) and at the International Guitar Competition in Bearn, France (2019); second prize at the Vienna International Guitar Competition (Austria, 2016) and the Montigny-Le-Bretonneux Classical Guitar Competition (France, 2016); and third prize at the Drôme Classical Guitar Competition (revelation category, France, 2016), the Alberto Ponce International Competition, Paris (2018) and the Brussels International Guitar Competition, Belgium (2019).
She regularly gives concert performances, in France and abroad, and in 2019 she became a Eurostring artist.
