Born and raised in Napels, Italy (2000), Cristina Galietto is one of the most renowned and appreciated Italian guitarists of her generation.  After receiving her first guitar lessons from her father Alberto, she entered the Conservatory of Naples S. Pietro a Majella at the age of 10, obtaining her diploma cum laude in 2018. She is currently continuing her study at the D. Cimarosa Conservatory of Avellino under the guidance of M ° Lucio Matarazzo. In addition, she has attended numerous specialization courses with some of the most prominent musicians on the international music scene, such as Leo Brouwer, Frédéric Zigante, Marcin Dylla, Hubert Kappel, Angelo Gilardino, Costas Cotsiolis, Paolo Pegoraro, Tali Roth, Marco Tamayo, Zoran Dukic and Aniello Desiderio.

Cristina has won numerous awards at international competitions, in Italy and abroad, among which 1st prize at the A. Rago (Stuttgart) and A. Segovia (Monheim am Rhein) young talent competitions in 2018, and at the G. Rospigliosi (Pistoia) and G. Caputo (Manfredonia) competitions in 2019. Furthermore, she won 2nd Prize at the Uppsala Gitarrfestival (Uppsala), the Premio Casinò di Sanremo (Sanremo) and the N.P. Bert (Piedicavallo) competitions in 2019.

Cristina has been performing concerts since the age of 12. Among the most important venues that saw her on stage are the Sala della Ragione of the town hall in Anagni, the MAN Museum in Nuoro, the main Lounge of the Academy Stefano Strata in Pisa, the Auditorium Oscar Niemeyer in Ravello, the Art Gallery of Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano and the church Domus Ars in Napels.

Cristina plays a guitar of fine workmanship made by master luthier Alessandro Marseglia (Pozzuoli) with Indian rosewood back and sides and spruce front in double-top.
